Biography

Amy Marlyn Gutiérrez Farro was born on August 25, 1998, in Callao, Peru, and emerged as a singer, songwriter, dancer and actor. She first gained national attention by winning the first season of La Voz Kids in 2014, which led to a contract with Universal Music Group and the release of her debut single "Alguien". In 2017 she joined the salsa orchestra Son Tentación, later moving to the duo You Salsa where she recorded "¿Cómo se perdona?", which reached number 8 on Peru’s Monitor Latino chart. After departing You Salsa in 2019, she launched a solo career with singles such as "No sé" (reaching number 3 on the general chart and topping the tropical list) and "Tú" (produced in the United States). Her first studio album, Valiente (2023), marked a formal album-era milestone, alongside live releases such as Amy Gutiérrez Unplugged (2023) and later Amy Gutiérrez En Vivo (2025). In 2025 she stayed active with new singles and collaborations—such as “Best Part (Versión en Español)” (2025), “Se Puso de Moda” (2025), and “Cuidado Conmigo” (2025)—while also maintaining a presence on screen with a recurring role in the series Brujas (2025).
