Biography

Amandine, a Swedish folk rock band formed in 2001, originally began as Wichita Linemen with Olof Gidlöf on vocals, John Andersson on piano and accordion, Andreas Wengelin on bass, and Dan-Erik Westerlind on drums. The group released their first demo, Halo, in January 2004 under producer Ove Andersson. In 2005, they released an EP titled Halo. Amandine's debut album, This Is Where Our Hearts Collide, followed the same year. The band continued to release EPs and albums, including Waiting For The Light To Find Us (2006) and Solace In Sore Hands ( 2007). Amandine has been signed to Fat Cat Records.
