Alex Pangman, born on September 4, 1976, is a Canadian jazz singer and a specialist in songs from the Great American Songbook. She began her career with the release of They Say... in 1999 and followed it up with Can't Stop Me from Dreaming in 2001. In 2006, she released Dead Drunk Blues. Pangman signed with Justin Time Records in 2011, releasing her album 33, which marked a significant milestone in her career. She has collaborated with notable artists such as Bucky Pizzarelli and Jeff Healey. Pangman's work includes the EP recorded directly onto 78 rpm acetate discs and a single featuring a previously undiscovered song by Connie Boswell. In addition to her musical endeavors, she hosts the radio show Swing Set on Toronto's JAZZFM.91. Pangman has also been an advocate for organ donation, sharing her experiences with cystic fibrosis and double lung transplants. She received a JUNO award nomination in 2016.
