Alex, Jorge y Lena was a US musical group formed in 2010, consisting of Cuban singer-songwriter Lena Burke, Spanish performer Ãlex Ubago, and Colombian lyricist Jorge Villamizar. The trio met through various music festivals and collaborations over the years before forming their supergroup. Their debut album, Alex, Jorge y Lena, was released on September 21, 2010, produced by Mexican singer-songwriter Aureo Baqueiro. The album featured 12 tracks written by all three members, with each playing an instrument. "Estar Contigo" was the first single from the album and charted at number 22 in the Billboard Top Latin Songs chart. Alex, Jorge y Lena embarked on a promotional tour in Spain and Latin America. The group received nominations for Breakthrough Artist at the Lo Nuestro Awards in 2011 and two Latin Grammy Award nominations in 2011 for Album of the Year and Best Pop Album by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
