Alberto Comesaña GarcÃa, born on August 1, 1961, in Vigo, Spain, is a singer and Spanish record producer. While studying Agricultural Engineering in Lugo from 1978 to 1983, he began his music career as a DJ at the Stilton pub. In 1984, Comesaña formed Semen Up, releasing their first mini LP in June 1985. The group gained national recognition, winning RNE's awards for Best Mini LP of the Year and Second Best Song of the Year. In 1991, Comesaña formed the duo Amistades Peligrosas with Cristina del Valle. The duo's debut album earned them a double Platinum certification in Spain (200,000 copies sold) and a Gold certification in Chile.
