Ada Rovatti (born 25 July 1976, in Pavia) is an Italian jazz saxophonist and composer. She studied at the Berklee College of Music and performed in big bands with Phil Woods and Lee Konitz. Following a period in Paris, she relocated to New York City, where she collaborated with musicians including Mike Stern, John McLaughlin, Herbie Hancock, and Randy Brecker, whom she married in 2001. Her recording career began with the album For Rent (2002) as Ada Rovatti & The Elephunk Band. This was followed by the albums Under the Hat (2003) and Airbop (2006). Rovatti appeared in the 2003 film Mona Lisa Smile. She gained recognition for her work on the Grammy-winning albums 34th N Lex (2003) and Rocks (2019). Her discography also included Green Factor (2009), Disguise (2014), and Brecker Plays Rovatti - Sacred Bond (2019). In 1998, she was recognized by the Jazz Contemporary School in Milan. Later releases included the album The Hidden World Of Piloo (2024).
