Biography
Following his departure in 2015 from the black metal band Immortal, which he had helped found in 1991, singer and guitarist Abbath Doom Occulta, aka Olve Elkemo, born June 27, 1973, decided to pursue his career under his own stage name, reduced to Abbath. Although conceived as a solo project, it welcomed the bassist from God Seed, King Ov Hell and the drummer Creature, who soon hung up his boots in the same year as the launch. A first album was released to mark this new departure. Soberly entitled Abbath, it was preceded by three singles: "Winter Bane", "Count the Dead " and "Ashes of the Damned".
