Biography

US dance-pop trio 3rd Party exploded onto the scene with their Alive album in 1997, scoring two Billboard Hot 100 dance hits in "Can U Feel It" and "Love Is Alive", before going their separate ways in the 2000s. Comprising Maria Christensen – who wrote four tracks on the album – Karmine Alers and Elaine Borja – the trio's LP featured the song "Waiting for Tonight", which was covered by Jennifer Lopez in 1999 for her debut album, On the 6.
