30Y, a Hungarian alternative rock band from Pécs, was formed in 2000 by brothers László Beck on drums and Zoltán Beck on guitar and vocals. The group took inspiration from the city's bus route 30Y for their name. After performing across Hungary and neighboring countries, they released their first album Egy perccel tovább in 2004. In 2006, 30Y signed with CLS Records and released the album Csészényi tér, which included the hit single "Bogozd ki". The band gained significant traction by leveraging online platforms for promotion, leading to chart success in Hungary and widespread media coverage. Notable albums include Semmi szédÃtÅ magasság (2007), No 4. (2008), Városember (2010), DicsÅség (2016) and X (2023).
