25band, an Iranian music group originating from Mashhad, Iran, was formed in 2010 by Tamin (Tahmineh) and A-del (Adel) as vocalists. The band's name was derived from Tus, the old name of Mashhad, where both members hail from. 25band's sound blended pop/electro with R&B, hip-hop, jazz, and Persian traditional music. In 2011, they released their first album Puerto Rico, followed by Bavar in 2015, 4 in 2017, and Jane Janan in 2019. Notable singles include "Az Pisham Miri" (2014) and "Maach" (2024). The band has performed internationally, including concerts at Casa Vertigo in Los Angeles and the Persian New Year Concert in Kuala Lumpur. They have also been featured in interviews with Iranian media outlets such as BBC Persian and VOA Persian.
