ZYYG is a Japanese rock band formed in 1993. Centered around Seiki Takayama (vocals), Koji Goto (guitar), Naoki Kato (bass), and Kenichi Fujimoto (drums), the band gained a following as one of the leading acts of the 1990s J-rock scene with its powerful beat-rock sound. The single âNO RETURN LOVEâ , released on April 23, 1994, was the first release under the new lineup featuring Koji Goto and Kenichi Fujimoto as official members, marking a turning point for the band. Subsequently, they released their first album *GO-WILD* (1994), *Noizy Beat* (1996), and *SWEET PUNKS* (1997), establishing their unique rock style through live performances. They disbanded in 1999. In December 2005, it was decided to hold the final concert that had been postponed prior to their disbandment, and in February 2006, they held âLIVE ROCKINâ HIGH Final âONE AND ONLY MEMORIESâ.â They reunited in 2019. On November 5, 2023, they released their 11th single âAoki Nostalgiaâ , and they continue to be actively involved in live performances and the production of new songs.
