Makiko Esumi (born December 18, 1966 in Shimane Prefecture) is a Japanese former actress, television personality, and singer. In 1994, she appeared in the cover photo of Eikichi Yazawa's album "the Name Is...", and this was the beginning of her involvement in the music scene. After starring in a hit TV drama series, he made his debut as a singer with the single "One Way Drive" on April 26, 2000. This rock number was produced by guitarist Torayasu Hotei, with lyrics written by Esumi himself and music composed by Hotei. On December 18, 2002, Ezumi participated as an artist in the omnibus album "Kagami, Hana, Sui, Tsuki" (Kagami, Hana, Sui, Tsuki), where he showed his unique ability of expression.
