Biography
Japanese singer and voice actor Yui Ogura is best known for lending her voice to the anime character Hinata Hakamada in Ro-Kyu-Bu!. She started her career in 2009 as one half of the musical group YuiKaori with Kaori Ishihara. They released three albums - Puppy (2011), Bunny (2013) and Bright Canary'(2015) - before disbanding in 2017. She went on to voice characters in anime series Ro-Kyu-Bu! Aquarion Evol and Encouragement of Climb. Her single 'Raise' (2012) was featured in the anime Campione! and gave her her first top-ten hit on the Oricon Chart. Taken off her debut album Strawberry Jam (2015), she followed up with albums Cherry Passport in 2017 and Hop Step Apple in 2019. Her notable releases are "Himitsu Melody" (2023) and "Kimiiro No Kiseki" (2024) and Bloomy (2024). In November 2025, she released the album Labo-Ratory.
