John Ryan Kaiser, known professionally as Yot Club, is an American singer-songwriter and producer from Mississippi. He began playing guitar at age eight and started releasing music under the name Amateur Observer in 2014 through an audio streaming service. In 2019, Kaiser adopted the pseudonym Yot Club and released his debut EP Aquarium. His breakthrough came with the song "YKWIM?" from the EP Bipolar, which went viral on social media and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America in November 2022. In May 2021, Kaiser moved to Nashville and released his debut album off the grid in June 2022, which featured the single "u dont kno me." Notable collaborations include "stuck on you" (2022) with April June and "Fool (Field Medic Version)" (2024) with Field Medic. Yot Club's music blends indie pop, lo-fi, bedroom pop, post-punk, synth pop, and surf pop, inspired by nostalgia and his experiences moving from a small town to Nashville.
