Biography
Hailing from the South East of England, Yoshika Colwell began making music around 2017. During a creatively pivotal period spent living in a caravan in the Kent countryside, she recorded homemade demos that caught the attention of Blue Flowers Music, the label behind artists such as Puma Blue and Gotts Street Park. Released in May 2024, her debut EP Thereâs A Time was produced by Oli Bayston and recorded live in the round with her bandmates, including members of Gotts Street Park and collaborators from the wider scene. This EP propelled her into the spotlight, earning radio airplay and other promotional coverage. In 2025, she continued to unfold her musical narrative with a series of releases, including âLast Nightâ and the In Bloom EP, before pouring everything into her debut full-length, On The Wing, released via Blue Flowers.
