Tomoe Shinohara, born on March 29, 1979, in Higashimurayama, Tokyo, Japan, is a Japanese singer. She was discovered by Sony Music Entertainment in 1994 and made her debut with the single "Chyaimu" in July 1995. Shinohara's music career took off quickly. In October 1996, she released her first album Super Model) Notable singles include "Yaruki Senseishyon"(1996) and "Kurukuru Mirakuru"(1996), which helped establish her presence in the Japanese music scene. In August 1998, she released MEGAPHONE SPEAKS, followed by DREAM & MACHINE in March 1999 and DEEP SOUND CHANNEL in November 1999. Her work has also extended to the world of anime. She contributed the single "Ultra Relax"(1997) as the second opening theme for the series Kodomo no Omocha. In 2001, she collaborated on the opening and ending themes for Dotto Koni-chan, including the song "KyaraDamon!" with Ryudo Uzaki. She also acted in various films and TV dramas, including Deborah ga raibaru (1997) and Himitsu (1999). Her multifaceted career includes acting roles in movies such as Gojira, Mosura, Kingu Gidora: Daikaijû soukougeki (2001) and Koi ni utaeba (2002), along with producing her friend Wakame Yoshino's musical debut in 2001.
