Biography

Cayucas is an American indie pop band from Santa Monica, California, formed in 2011 by principle songwriter and lead vocalist Zach Yudin. Originally a solo project known as Oregon Bike Trails, Yudin released his first song on January 18, 2011. In 2012, Yudin expanded the project into a band with his twin brother, Ben Yudin, who performs vocal harmony and guitar. They signed with Secretly Canadian in October 2012 and released the single “Swimsuit” (2012). Their debut album, Bigfoot (2013), was produced by Richard Swift. Subsequent albums include Dancing at the Blue Lagoon (2015), which was produced by Ryan Hadlock and features the single “Moony Eyed Walrus” (2015). Their discography also includes Real Life (2019), Blue Summer (2020), and Hangin' on the Westside (2023).
