Wristmeetrazor, a metalcore group from Washington, D.C., emerged in early 2017 as a solo project of guitarist Jonah Thorne. After releasing a demo in May 2017, Thorne recruited bassist Justin Fornof and drummer Zach Wilbourn, and the trio issued the EPs I Talk to God⦠and â¦But the Sky is Empty on independent labels. In 2018, drummer Bryan Prosser joined, and the band signed with Prosthetic Records, releasing their debut album Misery Never Forgets on 18⯠January â¯2019; the cover art was designed by Chris Taylor of Pg.â¯99. Subsequent releases include the 2021 album Replica of a Strange Love and the 2024 album Degeneration, while singles such as "Black Planet" and "Last Tango in Paris" expanded their discography. In 2024 they returned with the album Degeneration.
