Wolter Wierbos, a Dutch jazz trombonist born on September 1, 1957, in Holten, Netherlands, began his musical career in 1979. He played with ensembles like Cumulus and JC Tans & Rockets before releasing his debut solo album Wierbos in 1982. Wierbos collaborated extensively with notable musicians, including Theo Loevendie Quintet, Guus Janssen Septet, and the Podiumtrio. His career highlights include winning the VPRO/Boy Edgar Award in 1995. He has performed internationally across Europe, the USA, and Asia, and his discography includes albums like Live in Montreal (1986), Take One (1992), and Live at the Concertgebouw (1998).
