Brothers of Metal is a Swedish power metal band founded in Falun in 2012. The band consists of the members Ylva Eriksson (vocals), Joakim Lindbäck Eriksson (vocals), Mats Nilsson (vocals), Pähr Nilsson (guitar), Mikael Fehrm (guitar), Dawid Grahn (guitar), Emil Wärmedal (bass) and Johan Johansson (drums). Musically, the band plays power metal with influences from Viking metal and heavy metal. Their lyrics and appearance are strongly inspired by Norse mythology and are characterized by a self-ironic and clichéd portrayal. Their debut album Prophecy of Ragnarök was released in 2017 and received positive reviews for its catchy melodies and epic themes. The second album Emblas Saga (#9 in Germany) follows in 2020 and cements their reputation in the metal scene. In 2024, they released their third album Fimbulvinter (#14 in Germany), which again focused on Norse mythology and was praised by fans and critics alike. Their best-known singles include "Prophecy of Ragnarök", "Yggdrasil" and "One".
