Blind Pilot, an American indie folk band based in Portland, Oregon, was formed in 2005 by Israel Nebeker and Ryan Dobrowski. The duo initially gained traction with their debut album 3 Rounds and a Sound, released on July 15, 2008, which featured the single "Go On, Say It" that reached number 13 on the Billboard Top Digital Albums chart. The band expanded to a sextet in February 2009 and released their second album We Are the Tide on September 13, 2011. Their third album, And Then Like Lions, was released on August 12, 2016, receiving universal acclaim with a score of 71 out of 100 from Metacritic. Blind Pilot's music has been featured in various television programs, including Chuck and One Tree Hill. After an eight-year hiatus, the band released In The Shadow of the Holy Mountain in 2024.
