Wild Cub is an American indie rock band founded in Nashville, Tennessee, by songwriter and composer Keegan DeWitt and multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Bullock. The lineup also includes drummer Dabney Morris, bassist Harry West, and keyboardist Eric Wilson. Formed in 2012, the band released its debut album, Youth, independently in 2013 before issuing an expanded edition through Mom + Pop Music in 2014. The album featured the single "Thunder Clatter", which gained international attention after appearing in a Bose commercial and reached number 59 on the UK Singles Chart. Wild Cub has performed at major festivals including SXSW, Bonnaroo, and CMJ, and made television appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Conan. They also contributed a remix of Atlas Genius' "Symptoms" and recorded a cover of "Crazy in Love" for The A.V. Club's A.V. Undercover series. In 2017, the band released its studio album, Closer. Around the same time, DeWitt and Bullock increasingly focused on composing music for film and television, contributing scores to projects including Heart Beats Loud (2017) and Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story (2018).
