Wighnomy Brothers, an electronic music duo from Jena, Germany, was composed of Gabor Schablitzki and Sören Bodner. They met in the late 1980s in East Germany, sharing interests in break dancing, hip-hop, and early electronica. By 1997, they became residents at Club Kassablanca and started producing original tracks. Their live mixes blended deep house, minimal techno, jazz, and soul, while their original releases featured a unique deep-house sound. Notable EPs include Ill Restorante Della (2001) and Bodyrock EP (2003). They released music on labels such as Freude-Am-Tanzen, Kompakt, and Vakant. The duo announced their retirement at the end of 2009 but continued DJing and producing music separately. Their final releases included the mix compilation Metawuffmischfelge (2008) and Speicher 64 (2009).
