Biography

Dokaka, born in 1976 in Tokyo, is a Japanese musician and beatboxer. He gained initial recognition through his website, where he posted beatbox covers of artists such as King Crimson, Led Zeppelin, and Miles Davis. Dokaka's breakthrough came with his participation on BjÃ¶rk's album MedÃºlla (2004). His debut solo album, Human Interface, released in 2008, featured exclusively vocal samples. Dokaka has also released compilation albums, including Tributes (2004) and The Dokaka Discography (2010).
