Biography
Weather Systems is a project created in 2021 by Danny Cavanagh after the break-up of the band Anathema, which he formed in 1990 with his brothers Vincent and Jamie. Guitarist, keyboardist, programmer and composer, he then opened a new musical sequence by creating, with the two drummers of Anathema John Douglas and Daniel Cardoso, the Weather Systems entity, oriented towards progressive neo-rock. After a first demo in the form of the track "Still Lake" in 2022, the master of operations released two new tracks in the summer of 2024, "Do Angles Sing Like Rain? and "Synaesthesia", before unveiling the full album Ocean Without a Shore, made with producer Tony Doogan.
