Biography

Walter Meego was an American indie rock and pop rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Formed in 2004 by Justin Sconza (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Pat Pellegrini, and Colin Yarck (production) in the basement of Pellegrini's house, Walter Meego released their first EP, Romantic, in 2007. The band's debut album, Voyager, was released in 2008 under Sony/Almost Gold Recordings. Their second album, Wondervalley, followed in 2010 and was available as a free digital download on their website and for purchase via iTunes. Several of the band's songs were featured on TV shows and advertisements, including ABC's Ugly Betty and Heineken "Beertender" ads in 2008. On October 12, 2011, Walter Meego announced their disbandment via Twitter.
