Biography
Brian Michael Firkus, born Augustâ¯23â¯1989 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is an American drag queen, singerâsongwriter, guitarist, DJ, and entrepreneur. After earning a BFA in musical theatre from the University of WisconsinâMilwaukee, she entered the drag scene and rose to prominence as a competitor on RuPaul's Drag Race season seven in 2015, where she finished sixth, and later won RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars season three in 2018, becoming the first Indigenous queen to claim the title. She debuted with the album Two Birds in 2017, followed by One Stone in 2018, which peaked at Number 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart; the single "Moving Parts" charted in Scotland. Her third album, Barbara, released in 2020, introduced an electroâfolk sound and earned a GLAAD Media Award nomination. In 2022, she expanded into production and television with the renovation docuseries Trixie Motel and released the double album The Blonde & Pink Albums. In 2026, she released the stand-up album Skinny Legend.
