Biography

Vita Imana, formed in Madrid, Spain, in 2005, is a groove and death metal band renowned for its aggressive and atmospheric sound, highlighted by deep tunings and percussion. The band was founded by drummer Daniel García and bassist Pepe Blanco, and its current lineup includes Mero Mero (lead vocals), David Ramos (guitar), Diego López (guitar), Pepe Blanco (bass and backing vocals), Míriam Baz (percussion and vocals), and Daniel García (drums). Vita Imana gained recognition with their debut album En Otro Lugar (2010), receiving praise for tracks like "Gondwana." Their follow-up, ULUH (2012), further established their reputation, featuring hits like "Romper con Todo." Over the years, Vita Imana has become a staple in the Spanish metal scene, known for their dynamic live performances and contributions to the genre with albums such as Oceanidae (2014), El M4L (2017), Bosa (2019), and VI (2022).
