Visceral Bleeding are a Swedish progressive and doom metal band from Malmö formed in 1999. The ensemble was established by guitarist Peter Persson and drummer Niklas Dewerud and achieved professional recognition for a musical style influenced by groups including Suffocation and Monstrosity. Their recording career began with the demo Internal Decomposition (2000), which led to a contract with Retribute Records. They released their debut studio recording, Remnants of Deprivation (2002). Following the departure of Dewerud, Tobias Persson, known as âRotten Boyâ, joined the group on drums. Their recording career includes the studio recording Transcend into Ferocity (2004), released through Neurotic Records. The ensemble performed on tours with artists including Deicide, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, and Morbid Angel. Their discography includes the studio recording Absorbing the Disarray (2007).
