Violator, a Brazilian thrash metal band, was formed in 2002 by Pedro Arcanjo, Pedro Agusto, and David Araya. After releasing their first demo Killer Instinct in 2002, Violator signed with Kill Again Records in early 2004 and released their debut EP Violent Mosh. This release led to over 40 concerts across Brazil and marked the band's international debut when it was released on cassette in Bolivia. In late 2005, guitarist Juan Lerda left the band, and Violator continued as a power trio in early 2006 until Márcio Cambito joined. Their first full-length album, Chemical Assault, was released in 2006. The band toured extensively through South America and Europe, including notable performances at the True Thrash Fest in Japan in 2009, and was followed by the release of their second album Annihilation Process in 2010. Violator released their second EP, The Hidden Face of Death, in 2017, and their fourth album, Unholy Retribution, in 2025.
