Biography

Vince Bell is an American singer-songwriter born in the United States in 1951. Thomas Vincent Bell became a fixture on the Texas music scene in the 1970s and collaborated with mentors including Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark. After recovering from a severe automobile accident in 1982, they released the debut album Phoenix (1994), which featured contributions from Lyle Lovett and Victoria Williams. Their discography includes the recording Texas Plates (1999) and the album Recado (2007). Bell published the autobiography One Man's Music (1998). Subsequent recordings include the albums Ojo (2018) and Break My Heart (2026).
