Biography

Viking Skull, a British heavy metal from Corby, Northamptonshire, was formed in 2002 by Roddy Stone, Frank Regan, Darren Smith, Gordon Morrison, and Kevin "Waldie" James. The group initially gained traction with their debut EP Chapter One, released in October 2003 through Grand Union Recordings. This release garnered critical acclaim, including an 11 out of 10 review from Metal Hammer magazine. In October 2005, Viking Skull released their first full-length album, Born in Hell. The band underwent significant lineup changes over the years, with notable members including Jess Margera and Dom Wallace. Their subsequent releases include Chapter Two (2007), Doom, Gloom, Heartache & Whiskey (2008), Heavy Metal Thunder (2010), Cursed by the Sword (2012), and their self-titled album Viking Skull (2016). The band has supported acts such as Dio, HIM, Alice Cooper, and Murderdolls frontman Wednesday 13.
