Biography

Victor Cibrian, born on 9 June 1998 in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, is a Mexican singer who began playing clarinet in a youth symphonic band at age ten before switching to regional Mexican styles. His breakthrough came on 13 May 2022 with the single "En el radio un cochinero (lluvia de balas)", which quickly trended on video platforms and entered the top streaming charts. The track earned him a spot in Billboard’s 2023 list of “23 Latino & Spanish Artists to Watch,” recognizing his fresh approach to corridos tumbados. In 2022, he released the singles "Mi Porvenir", "El Fendi", and "La Elegancia Se Miró" (2023), and followed up with his debut album Cargando Piedras on 2 December 2022. The album consolidated his presence in the genre, and his music continues to chart internationally, marking him as a significant contemporary voice in Mexican regional music.
