Biography

Los Gemelos de Sinaloa, composed of Juan Moisés and Roberto Cárdenas, are a Regional Mexican duo known for their modern take on corridos. Born in Paramount, California to a Sinaloan family, they developed a passion for music from a young age, thanks to their mother, who encouraged them with singing lessons and mariachi performances at local markets. Their breakthrough came after competing in Tienes Talento at age 13, where they formed their band. Despite early struggles, including Juan Moisés’ time in prison, during which he began writing many of their hit songs, the duo has seen immense success. With tracks like "Si Me Ven" (2021) and "Andamos Mejor" (2022) racking up millions of streams, they have built a dedicated fan base across Latin America, the U.S., and Spain. In 2022, Los Gemelos de Sinaloa released the album Agradecido, featuring corridos and stories of personal growth, as well as the LP Adolorido (Vol. 1). Meanwhile, Roberto has taken a spiritual path, forming his own group, Los del Cristo, to focus on religious music, though the twins continue to collaborate. 2024 saw the release of the full-length EXCENTRICON, which included guest appearances by Los Farmerz and Oscar Maydon, followed by the EP AMARTE ME HIZO ODIARTE, featuring the track "AMOR."
