Biography

Vice du Nord, real name Marc-André D'Auteuil, is a Quebec folk singer. In 2016, he released a self-titled album under his real name. It reached the top 10 of the Quebec sales charts, but was not a radio hit. He put his musical career on hold until he met singer-songwriter-director David Laflèche in 2020. With him, he recorded his first single with his character, Vice du Nord, entitled " Entre Manu et Rémi ", inspired by the songs " Manu " by Renaud (1981), and " Mon Chum Rémi " by the Cowboys Fringants (2002). In October 2021, this song becomes the future IHeart Radio star on the ENERGIE radio network. In June 2022, he releases his second radio single, " J'ai pu d'chums ", in which he recalls the moment in his life when his chums left him. Vice du Nord releases a third single, " Un Autre hiver ", in November 2022.
