Biography
Hailing from Des Moines, Iowa, where they formed in 2018, metal band Vended includes two sons of Slipknot members, vocalist Griffin Taylor and drummer Simon Crahan. The line-up completed by Jeremiah Pugh (bass), Cole Espeland and Connor Grodzicki (guitars) delights in wielding mortuary concepts in alternative metal with an accentuated rhythm section. After a first public appearance in March 2020, Vended had to quickly fade from the scene during the Covid-19 pandemic, only to return a year later with the singles "Asylum" and "Burn My Misery", followed by the EP What Is It / Kill It. A tour with Jinger and P.O.D. followed, before the release of the debut album Vended at the end of 2024, which enjoyed worldwide acclaim.
