The Union Boys, an American folk music group formed in 1944, consisted of notable musicians Josh White, Sonny Terry, Brownie McGhee, Pete Seeger, Burl Ives, and Tom Glazer. The group was assembled by Alan Lomax for a single recording session at the Asch Recording Studio in New York City on March 11, 1944. Their sole album, Songs for Victory: Music for Political Action (1944), featured anti-Nazi and anti-Fascist themes supporting the US and Allies during World War II. The album included songs such as "Hold On" and "UAW-CIO", with contributions from Woody Guthrie. Following this session, the group disbanded, but Josh White continued his association with Moe Asch's Asch Records label.
