Typhoon Teens (å°é£å°å¹´å¢), abbreviated as TYT, was a Chinese boy band formed by TF Entertainment in October 2018. The group debuted with the single "Wake Up" and was initially composed of five members: Ding Chengxin, Ma Jiaqi, Song Yaxuan, Liu Yaowen, and Yao Jingyuan. They gained popularity through their participation in the reality show Typhoon Project, which led to their formation. In June 2019, TF Entertainment announced the "Typhoon Transformation Battle," a reorganization that resulted in the formation of a new group, Teens in Times (æ¶ä»£å°å¹´å¢), with Ding Chengxin, Ma Jiaqi, Song Yaxuan, and Liu Yaowen joining forces with three other trainees. Yao Jingyuan transitioned to the film and television department. Despite the reorganization, TYT officially disbanded in July 2019. During their brief career, TYT released music such as the EP 鿥客 (2019) and singles like "梦ç¸å " (2018). They also held concerts, including their debut showcase è§é in Chongqing in October 2018. Although their time together was short-lived, TYT made a significant impact on the Chinese pop music scene.
