Biography
AKB48 Team SH is a Chinese idol group based in Shanghai, formed as part of the AKB48 franchise. The group was established in 2018 after the end of the partnership between AKB48 and SNH48. The selection process began in April 2018, attracting over 38,000 applicants, from which 34 members were chosen for the first generation, including Liu Nian and Mao WeiJia, who had previously participated in the Chinese version of Produce 101. Team SH made their debut on December 3, 2018, with the single "LOVE TRIP", followed by several EPs such as ChuRi (2019), So Long! (2019), and Shoujotachi yo (2019). In November 2019, they released their first album 365nichi no Sustainable, featuring both Chinese and Japanese tracks. Team SH has actively participated in events like the NHK KÅhaku Uta Gassen in Japan and the AKB48 Group Asian Grand Ceremony. Members like Liu Nian and Zhu Ling also appeared in Chinese reality shows, including Youth with You 2 and Chuang 2020.
