Biography

Tweedy is an American rock band formed in the United States of America, composed of Jeff Tweedy and his son Spencer Tweedy. The duo released their debut album Sukierae on September 23, 2014. Initially planned as a solo record by Jeff Tweedy, the project evolved into a collaborative effort with Spencer after early sessions. The album's title references Susie, Jeff Tweedy's wife and Spencer Tweedy's mother, who was diagnosed with cancer during the composition process. The band included bassist Darin Gray, guitarist Jim Elkington, keyboardist-guitarist Liam Kazar, and sometimes singer Sima Cunningham on tour.
