Biography

German duo Tube & Berger, composed of Arndt Rörig and Marko Vidovic (also known as Lou Berger), emerged from the electronic music scene in 2000. Their breakthrough came with the single “Straight Ahead”, released in 2004 and featuring Chrissie Hynde, which entered the UK charts and brought them international attention. In the same period, the duo collaborated with Sonique on “Why” and with Inga Humpe on “Wir sind die anderen”, further establishing their presence within the dance music community. They founded Kittball Records in 2005, which became a central platform for their releases, including Free Tribe (2011) and Come On Now (Set It Off) (2014). Notable singles from their catalogue include “No Control” (2006), “Funky Shit” (2007), and “Mexican Dog” (2009). The 2013 releases “Lovebreak” and “Imprint of Pleasure” achieved top-10 positions on Beatport’s Deep House and Tech House charts, respectively. In 2017 the duo released the album We Are All Stars on Kittball and performed at Tomorrowland, while subsequent remix projects in 2018 and 2019 reached Number 1 positions on German club charts and Beatport, reinforcing Tube & Berger’s influence in contemporary electronic music.
