TrueBliss, a New Zealand pop girl group formed in April 1999, was created through the television show Popstars, which aired on TVNZ's TV2 channel. The group consisted of Joe Cotton, Keri Harper, Erika Takacs, Carly Binding, and Megan Alatini. Their debut single "Tonight" reached Number 1 on the New Zealand charts, followed by the release of their album Dream. TrueBliss signed with Columbia Records, an imprint of Sony Music, and embarked on the Number One Tour across 17 towns nationwide. Despite initial success, including a platinum-certified debut album, the group faced internal issues leading to Carly Binding's departure in early 2000. The planned follow-up album was never recorded, and TrueBliss disbanded shortly thereafter. In July 2012, Megan Alatini, Joe Cotton, Keri Harper, and Erika Takacs reformed the group to release a single "A Minute of One Day" for the New Zealand Child Cancer Foundation.
