Biography

Lomez Brown is a New Zealand reggae singer from Auckland. Of Maori and Cook Island descent, he burst onto the scene in 2013 with a blend of reggae and soul tinged with Polynesian rhythms on his debut singles and album Just So Fyne, released in 2016. nominated at the Pacific Music Awards, Maori Music Awards, Cook Island Music Awards and New Zealand Music Awards, Lomez Brown released The Feels & Groove EP in 2020, which racked up over three million listens. Her gentle voice and languorous melodies attracted an ever-growing audience, as evidenced by the success of the single "Sweet Lover", certified double platinum in 2023. At the end of 2024, after releasing several singles, he unveiled the album Under-Rated, including the hit "Cruise", which reached No. 12 in the local New Zealand Songs charts.
