Biography

Australian punk rock band, Trophy Eyes was formed in 2013 in Newcastle, Australia. Comprising John Floreani (lead vocals), Jeremy Winchester (bass guitar, saxophone) Blake Caruso (drums) and Josh Campiao (lead guitar), their journey began with the release of two EPs Demo 2013 (2013) and Everything Goes Away (2014). In November 2014, they unveiled their debut studio album, Mend, Move On which included singles “In Return," "White Curtains," and "Penfold State Forest." After a successful tour, their second studio album, Chemical Miracle, was released in October 2016. The album debuted at number 8 in Australia and number 14 on the US charts, gaining the band a considerable following both at home and overseas. Trophy Eyes continued to tour extensively, including a performance at Warped Tour 2017 and a tour with Neck Deep, Knuckle Puck, and Seaway, releasing non-album single titled "Hurt" shortly after. They embarked on their first US headlining tour in late 2017, joining Australia's Download Festival in 2018. That same year, they released the singles "You Can Count On Me" and "Friday Forever," followed by their third studio album, The American Dream. The album attained similar success in Australia, however climbed to number 5 in the U.S. With their popularity increasing exponentially, "Figure Eight" was released in January 2020, followed by "27 Club," "Bittersweet," and "Nobody Said" in 2021 and 2022 respectively. In March 2023, the band embarked on an American co-headline tour with Against the Current, supported by Yours Truly, announcing their fourth record, Suicide and Sunshine (2023) which featured 15 tracks, including "Blue Eyed Boy" and "What Hurts the Most,” seeing the album once again securing the number 8 position on the Australian charts.
