Biography
Triptykon, a Swiss black, death, and doom metal band, was formed in 2008 in Zürich by guitarist and vocalist Tom Gabriel Fischer. Fischer, previously known for his work with Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, and Apollyon Sun, assembled the group with bassist Vanja Slajh, guitarist Victoria "V. Santura" Bullok, and drummer Reed St. Mark. The band's debut album, Eparistera Daimones, was released in 2010, through Century Media Records. In the same year, Triptykon released their first EP, Shatter. Fischer described Triptykon as a continuation of Celtic Frostâs sound, aiming for a darker and more experimental direction. The band's second album, Melana Chasmata, was released in 2014, featuring the single "Breathing".
