Biography

Trio Parada Dura is a Brazilian sertanejo group formed in 1973 by Mangabinha. After early iterations, the classic lineup featuring Creone and Barrerito debuted with Castelo De Amor (1976), followed by Casa Da Avenida (1978). The trio achieved national stardom with Último adeus (1981), featuring the hit "Fuscão preto." Their extensive discography includes Luz Da Minha Vida (1983) and the live project Chalana, Churrasco E Viola (2017). With eleven gold and three platinum records, they became icons of the "sertanejo raiz" tradition. Although Parrerito—a key member of the later formations—passed away in 2020, the group has continued to perform with new members.
