Biography

Tim Reynolds, born on December 15, 1957 in Wiesbaden, Germany, is an American guitarist and multi-instrumentalist known for his work with TR3 and as a member of the Dave Matthews Band. Growing up in various locations due to his father's military service, Reynolds developed a love for music at a young age, inspired by his sister's Beatles albums. He learned guitar and bass, performing in church choirs and experimenting with rock, funk, and soul influences. In the late 1980s, he formed TR3, releasing their debut self-titled album TR3 in 1988. The band continued to release albums including Shifting Currents (1991), Light Up Ahead (1995), and Radiance (2009). Reynolds also collaborated extensively with Dave Matthews, joining the Dave Matthews Band as a permanent member in June 2008. Their duo performances, including the release of "Live at Radio City" on August 14, 2007, have been notable highlights of their career.
