Biography
Toma ZdravkoviÄ, born Tomislav ZdravkoviÄ on November 20, 1938, in Aleksinac, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, was a Serbian folk singer. Raised in poverty, ZdravkoviÄ began his music career in the town of Leskovac. He secured a singing job at a local kafana called DuboÄica. In 1964, he released his first EP, Essagerata. Notable songs from this period include "Å to te veÄeras nema" and "Buket belih ruža." ZdravkoviÄ's career gained significant momentum in the late 1960s with hits like "Odlazi, odlazi" and collaborations with ArmenuliÄ. In 1982, he held his first concert in Belgrade's Dom Sindikata, featuring hits like "Danka" and "Ciganka." His final concert was held in Podgorica, Montenegro. He passed away on September 30, 1991.
