TNN was founded in Argentina in the early 1990s. The project emerged as a dance and Eurodance formation in the context of the international club and rave scene. It was founded by Ramón Garriga, Frank Madero and Red Gee. TNN stands for "The New Nation". The project works as a studio project with a producer structure and changing production participants. From 1993, TNN released its first dance-pop and electronic club music tracks. The music combines rave aesthetics with catchy melodies and samples of traditional motifs. The single "La Cucamarcha" was released in 1993. The title is based on an electronically processed version of the traditional piece "La Cucaracha". The song becomes an international club success. In 1994, it reached number 9 in the German singles charts and won awards in several European countries. The song achieved gold status in Germany and other European markets. The single "Ay Ay Ay Cielito" follows in the same period, but does not build on the success of the first release and does not achieve a chart position.
