Biography
TNGHT is a musical duo consisting of Scottish producer Hudson Mohawke and Canadian producer Lunice formed in 2011. The pair originally met in 2008 while touring North America and debuted with the self-titled EP TNGHT (2012) through Warp and LuckyMe. They performed at international venues including The Opera House and the Coachella music festival. In 2012, they produced the track âShake Weightâ (2012) for Captain Murphy. TNGHT achieved wider recognition in 2013 after co-producing the Kanye West song âBlood on the Leavesâ (2013), which sampled their track âR U Readyâ (2012). They announced an indefinite hiatus in December 2013. The duo resumed activity in September 2019 with the release of the single âSerpentâ (2019). Later that year, they issued the EP II (2019), which included the single âDollazâ (2019). They followed these releases with the celebratory single âTumsâ (2021) to mark the approaching end of the pandemic quarantine.
